Hi all, just to let you all know I am having a massive ME Fundraising Bash on 27th October in the Devenish Arms in Belfast. Anyone who can help with my fundraising efforts would be much appreciated.

- ME (Myalgic Encapalomyelitis). ME is usually referred to as the sleepy sickness. ME is a serious neurological illness. There is NO known CURE. It affects 250,000 people in the UK, including children. ME has had bad press as there is not yet a diagnostic test.Many kids can miss out on education are completely isolated from the outside world.ME sufferers cannot live a normal life. If anything is to improve for ME sufferers, I think one of the first port of call is to get the NHS to work together to reconise and support the extreme debilitation that sufferers of this terrible illness have to face on a daily basis. Kids who develop ME in their teens go into adulthood having lost all their social contact,living each day in pain and very little understanding or help from the medical profession.
